Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

This is the brand-level privacy policy of Ping Apps Lab (“we”, “us”). It covers three things: this website (pingappslab.com), the Ping Apps Lab social posting app, and how our mobile apps handle data at a high level. Each app has its own policy with the details.

1. This website (pingappslab.com)

The site is a static marketing site. It has no accounts, no login and no forms that collect personal information. It does use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited.

  • What Google Analytics collects: pages viewed, how you arrived (referrer), approximate location (derived from your IP address, which GA4 does not store), browser, device and operating system type, screen size, language and basic interaction events such as scrolls and outbound clicks.
  • Cookies: Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) in your browser to tell visits apart and recognise returning visitors.
  • How to opt out: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a browser or extension that blocks analytics, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without analytics.
  • Hosting and CDN: the site is served from our web host and is served through Cloudflare, which provides DNS, TLS and caching. These providers process standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Fonts: the site’s typeface is self-hosted at build time and is not fetched from Google at visit time.
  • Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.

Google processes analytics data under its own terms; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

2. The Ping Apps Lab social posting app

Ping Apps Lab operates a Meta developer app that publishes our own posts to our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and Threads profile. It is used only by the owner of those accounts. It does not collect, store or share personal data from any user or visitor: it has no public sign-in, does not read anyone else’s profile, messages or contacts, and only sends content that we author to our own accounts.

This statement applies only to that posting app. It does not apply to this website (section 1) or to the mobile apps below (section 3).

3. Our mobile apps

Every Ping app collects analytics and crash reports, and there is no in-app setting to turn this off. What each app collects, how it is used, what stays on your device and how to ask for deletion are described in that app’s own privacy policy, which governs that app’s data:

4. Children

Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

5. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.

6. Contact
