IBPS Photo and Signature Size in KB: Resize on Android or iPhone

The IBPS photo size in KB and the signature size are set in each recruitment's guidelines. Recent IBPS guidelines list the photo at 20–50 KB and the signature at 10–20 KB. To get there, open the picture in ResizePing, set Mode to Target size and type the KB limit.

Some IBPS notices also ask for a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration, each with its own limit. Resize those the same way, with the limit from your notice.

Steps
- Take the photo and signature limits from your form or notice.
- Open ResizePing and pick the picture.
- Set Mode to Target size.
- In Target (KB), type the limit, slightly below the maximum.
- Read the Projected size, tap Run and check the saved size.
- Repeat for the other file with its own limit. Crop the white margins off a signature photo first.
If the size can't be reached, ResizePing says "Can't get this under N KB. Try a larger size or lower resolution." Make the picture smaller with Dimensions or Percent, run it, then set Target size again.
What to know
- ResizePing works on photos. It has no signature or ID mode, and it does not change backgrounds.

- The saved file can land a little above the number you type, so type a slightly lower target when the limit is hard.
