The official IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI notification lists an IBPS PO photo of 20 to 50 KB and a signature of 10 to 20 KB, as JPG or JPEG. To size your files, open ResizePing and set Mode to Target size for the KB. The notice also prefers 200 x 230 px for the photo and 140 x 60 px for the signature, which you can set with Dimensions.

The photograph is 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm: a recent passport-style colour picture on a light, preferably white, background. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Sign on white paper with a black ink pen, and do not sign in capital letters. The application will not let you continue until the photo and signature meet the specs.
The notice also asks for a live photograph captured with a webcam or mobile phone, which ResizePing does not do. It also lists a left thumb impression (20 to 50 KB) and a handwritten declaration (50 to 100 KB), both JPG or JPEG. Check those in the notice.
What ResizePing does and does not do
ResizePing sizes a picture by KB and by dimensions. It has no signature mode. It does not change backgrounds. Check every other rule in the source yourself. ResizePing can set pixel Dimensions, but you check the px against the source yourself.
Steps
- Read the limits in the current IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI notification.
- Open ResizePing and pick the picture.
- Set Mode to Target size and type a number inside the range in Target (KB). Run it.
- Choose JPG as the output. Location data is stripped by default.
- Read the Projected size before the run, then check the final file's size against the official range.
- Repeat for the other file with its own range.
If a size can't be reached, ResizePing warns you. Make the picture smaller with Dimensions or Percent, run it, then set Target size again.
