The official UPSC instructions PDF lists a NDA photo of 20 to 200 KB and a signature of 20 to 100 KB, as JPG. To size your files, open ResizePing and set Mode to Target size for the KB. The instructions also list a signature width of 350 to 500 px, which you can set with Dimensions.

Steps
- Read the limits in the current UPSC instructions PDF.
- Open ResizePing and pick the picture.
- Set Mode to Target size and type a number inside the range in Target (KB). Run it.
- Choose JPG as the output. Location data is stripped by default.
- Read the Projected size before the run, then check the final file's size against the official range.
- Repeat for the other file with its own range.
If a size can't be reached, ResizePing warns you. Make the picture smaller with Dimensions or Percent, run it, then set Target size again.
