Steps to convert JPG to PNG

  1. Open ResizePing and select your JPG, or share it into ResizePing from Photos, Files, Drive or another app.
  2. To convert several photos at once, select them together to run as a batch.
  3. Choose PNG as the output format. JPG and WEBP output are available too.
  4. Run the conversion.
  5. The result screen shows the before and after size, with Share and Done options.

What to expect from the file size

PNG is lossless, so a PNG made from a JPG is usually larger than the JPG, and converting does not add detail back that the JPG already lost. If the PNG is too big for a form or chat, check whether the form accepts a JPG, or lower the pixel size with the Dimensions or Percent mode. See how to compress image size on Android and iPhone for the size options.
