How to keep a verification code or delivery update
Need an OTP or delivery update again later? RecallPing keeps a searchable notification log from the moment you grant access. Pin what you need to keep.

A verification code or delivery update often matters most after it has disappeared from your screen. RecallPing is an Android notification log. It keeps notifications only from when notification access is granted, and it cannot bring back anything from before install or while capture was stopped. Pin the code or confirmation you need and it is kept past the 30-day window, so you can find it again.
How to keep a code
- Install RecallPing and grant notification access. From that moment it keeps what your phone receives.
- When a code or confirmation arrives that you will need later, pin it.
- To find it again, search the words you remember, or filter by the app that sent it, by date range, or by type: codes, deliveries or promotions.
- Read it in RecallPing. Reading your history never opens the app the notification came from.
Find it again
Search the saved text with quoted phrases, AND, OR and NOT, or use word-start search such as bank* when you only remember the start of a word. Senders are grouped (banking, social, shopping, delivery, utilities, work), which helps when you remember who sent it but not what it said.
Keep unpinned history in mind
The log keeps 30 days of history. Anything you have not pinned ages out of that window, so pin the notifications you know you will need, such as a delivery confirmation you may have to show later.
If capture stops
A log only helps while it is capturing. RecallPing alerts you if capture stops and tries to reconnect. Notifications missed while capture is stopped cannot be recovered, so check now and then that notification access is still on.
Protect your codes
Verification codes are sensitive. RecallPing offers an optional app lock that uses your fingerprint, face or phone PIN. Mute rules by app, keyword or after-hours window keep notifications you do not want out of the log.
Where your notifications stay
Notification text is stored in a private database on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud, and the app shows a small ad.
