Video Compressor for Android and iPhone: Shrink a Video to the Size You Need

Need a video compressor that works on your phone? ResizePing shrinks a video to 500, 200, 100 MB or a size you type, shows the estimate first, and never uploads it to our servers.

Send the video, not an error message. ResizePing is a video compressor for your phone: pick the size you need, check the estimate, and shrink the file. Your video is never uploaded to our servers, so there is no waiting on an upload.

Compress a video on your phone. ResizePing shrinks videos to a size you choose, with an estimate first, on iPhone and Android. Get it on Google Play or the App Store.

Why compress on your phone

  • You choose the size. Pick 500 MB, 200 MB or 100 MB, or type your own size in MB.
  • You see the estimate first. The estimated size appears before you run anything, so you can change the target without starting over.
  • It stays on your device. Never uploaded to our servers.
  • You can compare afterwards. The result screen shows the before and after size.

How to compress a video

  1. Install ResizePing and open the video tool.
  2. Pick the video. The screen shows its duration, resolution and source size.
  3. On the Target size tab, choose 500 MB, 200 MB or 100 MB, or Custom and type a size in MB.
  4. Read the estimated size.
  5. Tap Resize video, then check the before and after size on the result screen.

If you would rather set the output yourself, the video tool also has Resolution and Quality tabs.

Which size should you pick?

Start from the limit you are up against. If the limit is a round number, use the preset that fits it. If it is something else, such as a form that accepts 25 MB, use Custom and type that number. The estimate is a projection, not a promise of an exact file size, so leave a little room under the limit.
