Need to split a PDF? ResizePing has a Split PDF tool on Android. Get it on Google Play.
Steps to split a PDF on Android
- Open ResizePing, tap Select PDF on the home screen and pick one PDF.
- When ResizePing asks What do you want to do?, choose Split PDF.
- Choose Split by ranges.
- In Pages or ranges, type the ranges, for example
1-3, 4-6. Each range becomes its own PDF. - Tap Split.
- On the Split Complete screen, use Share or Done.
Pull out single pages instead
Choose Extract pages rather than Split by ranges and type the pages you want, for example 1, 3, 5-7. Each page you list is saved as its own 1-page PDF. Tap Extract, then share the results from the Extract Complete screen.
If ResizePing shows an error
- "Enter at least one page or range." The field is empty.
- "Use pages or ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10." Check the format of what you typed.
- "Ranges must be in order with no overlap or repeats." Put the ranges in page order and don't repeat a page.
- "Page N is beyond this N-page PDF." Pick page numbers inside the document.
- "This PDF is password-protected." ResizePing can't split a password-protected PDF.
- "This PDF looks damaged and couldn't be read." Try another copy of the file.
