Published October 26, 2026

To batch resize images on Android and iPhone or resize multiple photos at once, open ResizePing, select multiple photos from your photo library or files, choose whether to resize to an exact file size in KB or MB or exact dimensions, check the projected size for each photo, and run the batch. Every photo is processed directly on your phone, and the result screen compares before and after sizes.

Quick steps

Follow these steps to batch resize images on your phone:

  1. Open ResizePing on Android or iPhone and open the photo resize tool.
  2. Select multiple photos from your library or files, or share them into ResizePing from another app.
  3. Choose your resizing mode: Target size (for an exact file size in KB or MB) or Dimensions (pixels, percent, or print size in mm, cm, or inch with DPI).
  4. Enter your target number or select a preset such as 100 KB, 1 MB, or 1080 px.
  5. Choose your output format: JPG, PNG, or WEBP. Input files can be HEIC or standard image formats. Location data is stripped by default.
  6. Review the projected result size shown for each photo in the batch before running.
  7. Run the batch. The app shows per-item progress that you can cancel if needed.
  8. Check the before and after sizes on the comparison screen, then tap Share or Done.

Target size versus dimensions for multiple photos

ResizePing provides two distinct ways to resize multiple photos at once, depending on the requirement you need to meet.

Resizing to an exact file size

Target size mode sets a file weight in kilobytes or megabytes. When an upload portal, job form, or email provider enforces a strict file size ceiling, select Target size mode. You can enter a custom size in KB or MB, or tap a preset like 100 KB or 1 MB.

ResizePing searches image quality and steps down pixel dimensions when a target is tight, ensuring your photos fit the specified file weight. If a target is impossible to hit, the app warns you before you run so you can lower the resolution or choose a different target.

Resizing to exact dimensions

Dimensions mode adjusts the pixel width and height, a percentage of the original size, or print dimensions. This mode is useful when a portal asks for specific pixel dimensions (such as the 1080 px preset) or a physical print size (such as passport 35x45 mm in mm, cm, or inch with DPI). You can also select quality levels: Best, Balanced, or Smallest.

Seeing the projected size before you run

When processing multiple photos together, unexpected file sizes waste time. ResizePing displays a projected result size for every photo in your batch before you commit to running the job.

If a photo cannot reach your desired target size, ResizePing shows a warning beforehand. You can adjust your target or reduce dimensions first. Once the batch finishes, the comparison screen displays the exact before and after file sizes for each photo, and every job is logged in a searchable History where you can inspect past settings or re-run a job in one tap.

What output formats are supported when batch resizing?

ResizePing can export your batch as JPG, PNG, or WEBP. You can also import HEIC images from your phone.

What happens if a photo in the batch cannot reach the target size?
